AlpLinkBioEco

Project mission

The aim of the AlpLinkBioEco is to make a better use of clusters by connecting different actors from the Bio-based industry along the bio-based value chains from the fields of biomass production, process technology and end-users across the Alpine Region. AlpLinkBioEco focuses on three levels: policy, clusters, enterprises. A Joint Bio-Based Policy Approach for the Alpine Region (JBBPA), includes an Action Plan (AP) and provides practical solutions towards the harmonisation of bio-based cluster policies. New cluster management services will improve the impact of cluster initiatives as an enabler for innovation and transnational cooperation. Mapping activities will identify promising value chains and innovation gaps where the Pilot Actions (PA) can focus.
