Marpipe

Project mission

MarPipe consists in a research consortium composed of 11 partners located in 8 countries belonging to the EU with the aim to favour academic training and scientific skills of 11 PhD students. The research program is focused on developing high value competences in the marine drug sector in order to exploit the interesting opportunities of marine organisms which can be used to produce a variety of biologically relevant natural products, such as antibiotic and anticancer compounds. Thanks to a strong collaboration within partner, the candidates can broaden their academic knowledge by performing practical research in the field and participating at international technical seminars.
