Project mission
The chronic inflammatory arthritis are autoimmune diseases that affect the 2% of the global population with a medical course that can damage the articular tissues and cause an accelerated atherosclerosis with consequent risk of developing cardiovascular pathologies if they’re not adequately treated. To reduce that possibility, ArtiDe aims at creating a detailed essay based on the identification of new genetic and protein markers that can ease the early diagnosis of inflammatory arthritis. These elements are essential to establish the aggression and severity risk in order to ensure a medical response to specific patient needs by adapting the premature treatment on the actual health status of the subject.
