In 2022, the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Reference Practice came into force, with the guidelines on the management system for gender equality that provides for the adoption of specific indicators relating to gender equality policies in organizations to reduce the gender gap in the labour market and strengthen the prevention measures of any form of harassment or abuse or physical, verbal, digital harassment in the workplace.
The Consorzio Italbiotec intends to promote inclusion and enhance diversity. To this end, it wants to obtain the UNI PdR 125 Gender Equality Certification to consolidate the culture of equal opportunities and maintain and develop an inclusive work environment that is respectful of gender diversity and free from any form of discrimination.
We have established the Steering Committee with the task of coordinating policies and procedures to promote Gender Equality, composed of: Ilaria Re, Marta Buccaro, Francesca Soriga, with the role of Committee Coordinator.
Our Gender Equality Policy describes Consorzio Italbiotec's commitments to the topic, the strategies implemented, and the objectives pursued.
Our commitment to Gender Equality is based on the principle of "zero tolerance" for any form of abuse or harassment, whether physical, verbal, or digital.
For this reason, we have activated a specific method for reporting or denouncing any situation of inequality and any form of harassment, abuse, violence, and/or discrimination, even anonymously.
The attached procedure contains all the useful information and instructions for reporting discrimination, harassment, abuse or violence.
