Thanks to advanced survey techniques, researchers evaluate the impact that new feeds have on the digestive processes of fish. They study the adaptation in our environments of a new genetically selected strain of trout coming from the United States and part of the results obtained from the project will be extendable to the seabream.
The aim of the research is to find alternative protein sources to flour and fish oils that can guarantee the optimal growth of farmed fish, a fish with a high nutritional value and respectful of the quality and food safety requirements that the consumer requires.
