Project mission
The project’s goal consists in the identification of an efficient purification strategy with a low impact on the financial management and the environment concerning the urban water system. This protocol addresses to selected zootechnical realities that are representative of the main Italian animal sectors with different type of productive process (i.e. bovine, pork and poultry). An innovative purification plant will be built with the purpose of testing the beneficial effects of specific natural plants on the removal of toxic agents in water. In particular, different analysis will be performed valuating the decontamination ability of each plant variety in order to select the best compound to be implemented in the breeding farms.
