Project mission

The project combines the production of bioplastic, based on the recycling of urban waste, with the creative realization of ordinary goods or niche objects using an eco design approach. Bioplastic material displays a wide range of thermal and mechanical proprieties comparable to traditional plastic whereas their origin is much more environmentally sustainable given that they’re the output of a recycling process based on the recovery of food scraps or urban waste. By using bioplastic, the project aims to create everyday objects designed by selected architects whose way of thinking consists in the beneficial blend of art and environment, meeting the needs of conscientious consumers.
