Project mission

Since disorders in the microbiota can lead to various diseases’ uprising, the project’s main goal focuses on the development of new alimentary formulations based on the maintenance and restoration of the bacterial flora. The profitable collaboration between research centres and pharmaceutical companies will allow to advance the identification of innovative probiotic products with an active function devoted in particular to lessen severe dysbiosis such as hypercholesterolaemia or antibiotic treatments. This objective will be carried out by establish a cooperative hub whose output consists in the production of nutraceutical supplements based on natural compound selected for the beneficial effects of their active substances.
